Inside this segment, the header begins with the 6-byte signature Exif\0\0, immediately followed by a complete TIFF header defining byte-endianness (II for Little-Endian Intel or MM for Big-Endian Motorola). The TIFF header points to tiered Image File Directories (IFDs): IFD0 (primary image attributes), ExifIFD (shutter, aperture, ISO, lens profiles), GPSIFD (satellites and coordinates), and Interoperability IFD.
