📖 Sacred Etiquettes, Optimal Hours & Authentication Criteria

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Supplication is worship itself" (الدعاء هو العبادة - Sunan at-Tirmidhi 2969, Sahih). Dua is the most intimate manifestation of servitude (Ubudiyyah) and humility before the Creator. Allah Almighty says in Surah Ghafir (40:60): "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Making daily supplications protects the servant from arrogance, dispels spiritual apathy, and draws continuous divine mercy.

  • Praise & Salawat: Begin with glorification of Allah (Hamd) and sending blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and conclude similarly.
  • Certainty of Acceptance (Yaqeen): Supplicate with unwavering faith that Allah hears and will respond in the manner best suited for your eternal welfare.
  • Presence of Heart: Avoid absent-minded recitation; the Prophet ﷺ warned that Allah does not answer supplication from an heedless, inattentive heart.
  • Facing the Qiblah & Raising Hands: Raised palms towards heaven in humble reliance is a confirmed Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.
  • Lawful Sustenance: Ensuring one's food, drink, and earnings are entirely Halal, as consuming the unlawful forms a spiritual veil against Dua acceptance.

While the door of prayer is perpetually open, authentic traditions highlight specific moments when the gates of heaven swing open with heightened divine favor:

  1. The Last Third of the Night: When our Lord descends to the lowest heaven, asking: "Who calls upon Me that I may answer him?" (Sahih al-Bukhari).
  2. Between the Adhan and the Iqamah: A time when supplication is not rejected (Sunan Abi Dawud).
  3. During Prostration (Sujud): The servant is closest to their Lord in Sujud; therefore, increase supplication therein (Sahih Muslim).
  4. The Final Hour of Friday: The hour before Maghrib on Jumu'ah wherein no Muslim asks Allah for good except that He grants it.
  5. During Rainfall & While Traveling: Times of mercy when prayers are specially accepted.

Every supplication in the RiazHub Universal Corpus is rigorously sourced from the Noble Quran and canonical Sunnah collections, primarily Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abi Dawud, Sunan an-Nasa'i, and Jami` at-Tirmidhi. Only narrations graded as Sahih (Authentic) or Hasan (Good/Reliable) by recognized muhaddithin are admitted. Fabricated, disputed, or heavily weak traditions are strictly excluded to ensure absolute spiritual peace of mind for every worshiper.

Your spiritual privacy is sacred. All astronomical day computations, reflection journals, Tasbeeh counts, bookmarks, and audio syntheses execute 100% inside your personal web browser using native client-side APIs.
