Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about printing, age suitability, and using this curriculum with your children or students.
What age range is this Animals of the Holy Quran workbook designed for?
This curriculum is designed for children ages 4 to 12+. Younger children (ages 4–7) benefit tremendously from the large Arabic calligraphy coloring, animal illustrations, and hearing the miracle stories read aloud. Older kids (ages 8–12) read the authentic Quranic verses, trace the Arabic script, and track their memorization through the 20-animal master checklist and matching quest.
Can I print this on standard US Letter or A4 paper?
Yes! All 28 pages are mathematically laid out to fit both standard US Letter (8.5in x 11in) and International A4 paper seamlessly. The margins include generous padding so you can punch holes for a 3-ring binder or take it to a print shop for comb/spiral binding.
Are all 20 animals mentioned strictly from authentic Quranic verses?
Yes, absolutely! Every single animal featured across the 28 pages includes exact Surah name, chapter, and verse citations in the Holy Quran (e.g. Surah As-Saffāt 37:142 for the Whale, Surah Al-Fīl 105:1 for the Elephant, and Surah Ash-Shams 91:13 for the She-Camel).
Do children need prior Arabic reading skills to start?
Not at all! Every creature is accompanied by clear English transliteration, English meaning, and full Arabic Harakat (vowels). Even beginners who are just starting their Quranic Arabic journey can pronounce each creature’s name, learn the proper du’as, and enjoy coloring the hollow calligraphy outlines.
Is an official student certificate of completion and pledge included?
Yes! Page 27 contains an Official Student Certificate of Achievement featuring ornate double borders, Arabic certificate calligraphy, a “Completed” medallion crest, and a clean, non-overflowing fillable line for the student’s name, date, and signature. Page 28 provides the Little Hearts Guardian of Creation Islamic Pledge to hang on their bedroom wall!
