⚖️ When Exactly Does Maghrib & Iftar Begin?
According to the consensus of all four Sunni schools of jurisprudence (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, Hanbali), Maghrib starts strictly upon the complete disappearance of the entire solar disc below the western horizon. The Prophet ﷺ stated: "When night approaches from here, and day retreats from there, and the sun has set, then the fasting person should break their fast" (Sahih al-Bukhari 1954).

Maghrib is invalid while any part of the upper limb remains visible.
